Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit is offering expanded services Dec. 15 through April 9, 2017.

Earlier this year, the Placer County Board of Supervisors approved the 2016 Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit Systems Plan Update aimed at creating a world-class transit system in North Lake Tahoe. The plan identified expanded services as a program goal, which are now included in the upcoming extended winter services. Increased 30-minute service along regional routes, a free night rider service and more will be available starting Dec. 15.
