Placer County Employment Profile Reports
The County of Placer is located in the Capital Region of Northern California. It is home to over 400,000 residents and 13,000 businesses. Placer County enlisted Beacon Economics with developing reports to facilitate a more focused dialogue about the economic environment in the County. Beacon Economics provided employment profile reports by way of three diverse regions: West Placer County (formerly South Placer), the Foothills, and East Placer/Tahoe Region. These reports build from confidential California Employment Development Department data on establishments and employment to establish a baseline of economic activity, and to track overall trends in the economic activity.
