Hazardous Vegetation Abatement Ordinance

The Hazardous Vegetation Abatement Ordinance was established to assist property owners in maintaining 100 feet of space around their home to help prevent fires. This ordinance only applies to properties with a dwelling (occupied or unoccupied) on the property who are unable to achieve 100 feet of defensible space due to vegetative growth on bordering parcels that do not have a dwelling or basic required services like electricity.
