The District offers information on a variety of incentive or grant programs to reduce air pollution.

Clean Air Grant Program
The Clean Air Grant Program provides monetary grants to private companies and public agencies to clean up their heavy-duty engines beyond that which is required by law or regulation through repowering, replacing or retrofitting their engines, vehicles or equipment.

CAP Incentives Program
The Program’s focus is to reduce exposure in communities most impacted by air pollution and uses a variety of strategies including community-level monitoring, uniform emission reporting across the State, stronger regulation of pollution sources and incentives for both mobile and stationary sources.

Wood Stove Changeout Incentive Program
You may be eligible for cash to replace your uncertified wood stove or fireplace! Old wood stoves and inserts manufactured before 1990 waste firewood, pollute the air in your neighborhood, and create dust inside your home.

Technology Assessment Program (TAP)
The Placer County Air Pollution Control District sponsors a Technology Assessment Program (TAP) to provide financial assistance in the form of grants for the development and evaluation of technologies which have the potential to reduce air pollution in Placer County.

FARMER
The Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) Program aims to reduce agricultural sector emissions by providing grants for agricultural harvesting equipment, heavy-duty trucks, agricultural pump engines, tractors, and other equipment used in agricultural operations.
