- Reasonable Accommodation
The purpose of reasonable accommodation is to provide equal employment for individuals with disabilities. A mental or physical disability may affect your ability to perform the essential duties of your job. Placer County may be able to provide reasonable accommodation to assist you in performing the essential functions of your job.
Placer County will evaluate what assistance might be appropriate and reasonable. The employer is entitled to require documentation about the existence of the disability and the functional limitations. Documentation must be from an appropriate health care professional. For more information contact the Disability Management Administrator at 530-889-4094.
