After the acquisition of this commercial building in 2010, the County initially renovated a second-floor suite to house the Assessor’s Tahoe Division, and then in 2012 completed the renovation of the entire first floor to accommodate the Tahoe Division of the Community Development Resource Agency. These functions were moved out of leased facilities into this new County-owned building. Along with the move of HHS Environmental Health and CEO’s Tahoe staff into the remaining upstairs suites, this new administration center for Tahoe will save over $190,000 annually in lease payments.
