Pension

The Veterans Service office helps to connect Veterans with their benefits, provided to them by the Veterans Administration (VA). The VA helps Veterans and their families cope with financial difficulty by providing additional income through the Veterans Pension benefit. Pension is a tax-free monetary benefit payable to low-income wartime Veterans or their surviving spouse.

To apply for VA Pension, some forms will need to be filed. There are separate forms required for married and single veterans, as well as a separate form for a veteran's surviving spouse. We'd also encourage a visit to our office so that we can make this process as easy as possible for Veterans and their families.
