- Installing pumps, meters, and controls in the wet well and storage tank
- Activating power to the new pumping station system and testing
Additional Information
Work at Twin Rocks Road will include completing installation of the manholes, connecting to the SMD 2 sewer collection system, installing power to the controls and meters at the manholes, and synchronizing communications with the pumping station.
Work will continue at the wastewater treatment plant this month with the:
- Installation of electrical equipment for the new pump station
- Construction of the equalization basin
- Application of the final lining of the storage tanks and wet well
- Completion of the site’s final grading
Additional Information
In addition, three new manholes will be installed at Twin Rocks Road and Auburn Folsom Road, and the connection will be made from the newly constructed pipeline to the existing SMD 2 wastewater collection system in preparation for the decommissioning of the wastewater treatment plant.
Construction of the pump station will continue this month. Work will include construction of the electrical building, utilities, and controls for pump station control buildings. Work within the County’s road right-of-ways will include pressure testing the new pipeline, installing new manholes, flow meters and access vaults, and repaving roads.
Construction of the pump station will continue this month. Work will include final grading, testing of the wet well and emergency storage tanks, connection to the sewer force main, and constructing foundations for pump station control buildings. In addition, piping and manholes will be installed at the intersection of Auburn Folsom and Twin Rocks Roads in order to tie the new pipeline into the existing line.
Construction of the pump station will continue this month and will include installation, testing and backfilling of the wet well and emergency storage tanks.
With the completion of the pipeline installation in early June, and the installation of valves, repaving and striping along Auburn Folsom Road nearing completion, construction will continue at the pump station this month. Work will include installation, testing and backfilling of the wet well and emergency storage tanks, connection to the pipeline on Auburn Folsom Road, and installation of piping for connection of wet well to existing treatment plant system.
Pipeline installation work on Auburn Folsom Road will be completed by the first week of June. Intermittent traffic control will occur during installation of valves along the line and delays should be anticipated at these times. Construction of the pump station continues this month and will include rock excavation and transport, delivery of materials, including oversized concrete tanks, and tank installation.
Pipeline installation work continues on Auburn Folsom Road where, as of April 30, approximately 9,300 feet (about 70% of the total route) has been installed from Twin Rocks Road to near Eden Rock Drive. Traffic control will continue to be in place Monday through Saturday; delays should be anticipated. Work that was anticipated for April at the SMD 3 plant site, just north of Dick Cook Road, is expected to begin this month. Work includes excavation and installation of the wet well, and trucking in sections of the concrete well on Auburn Folsom Road to the plant site.
Pipeline installation work continues on Auburn Folsom Road where, as of March 28, approximately 6,400 feet (about 48% of the total route) has been installed from Twin Rocks Road to Moss Lane. Traffic control will continue to be in place Monday through Saturday; delays should be anticipated. Work activity at the SMD 3 plant site just north of Dick Cook Road is expected to increase this month with the excavation and installation of the wet well, which will include trucking in sections of the concrete well on Auburn Folsom Road to the plant site.
Pipeline installation work continues on Auburn Folsom Road where, as of February 28, approximately 4,600 feet (about 1/3 of the total route) has been installed from Twin Rocks Road to just past Ardea Way. Traffic control will continue to be in place Monday through Saturday; delays should be anticipated. Work activity at the SMD 3 plant site just north of Dick Cook Road is expected to increase this month.
Work continues on Auburn Folsom Road between Twin Rocks Road and the SMD 3 plant just north of Dick Cook Road. Activities include excavating trenches, installing pipe, backfilling and temporary paving. Traffic control will be in place Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.; delays should be anticipated.
Work at the SMD 3 plant site will begin this month with the excavation of the pump station and will include 4 days of blasting to remove rock. During blasting, Auburn Folsom Road will be temporarily closed in front of the plant for up to 15 minutes.
Work will continue on Auburn Folsom Road, beginning at Twin Rocks Road and proceeding north in the north-bound lane.
