Apply for a Permit

The California Building Code (CBC) states that no building or structure regulated by this Code shall be erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a separate permit for each building or structure has first been obtained.

Please note: if you start the process online, you will need to finish the process online. If you start the process by paper, it will need to be finished via paper.

Valuation rates are adjusted based on the California Construction Cost Index and the hourly inspection rates are based on the Consumer Price Index. New construction, including additions, may require the payment of fire mitigation and school developer fees. Please contact your school and fire districts for fee information.
