Clerk of the Board


The Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors provides several services to the public and the Board of Supervisors, including:

  • Supports the five Board of Supervisors by preparing and distributing the Board agenda, attending meetings, recording minutes and summary actions, distributing approved documents to County departments, and retaining records of action taken by the Board of Supervisors
  • Supports the Board-appointed Placer County Assessment Appeals Board by receiving and processing applications for changed property tax assessments, preparing and distributing agenda, recording minutes and retaining records of Board action
  • Coordinates appointments, reappointments and vacancies to the various appointed Committees and Commissions.
  • Provides information, referral and reception services to the public at the Placer County Administrative Center
  • Receives Claims Against the County, Public Records Act requests, and City Parcel/Subdivision Maps
