If you have been an IHSS Provider in the past -- even if in a different county -- please call us at 530-889-7115 before continuing, we may be able to expedite your enrollment. Public Authority personnel will assist you through the process.
If you do not have an IHSS recipient who you are currently working for STOP. Our Registry can refer you to IHSS recipients that have requested referrals, please apply online. To learn more about being a Registry provider, watch this informational video.

Placer County Public Authority is please to offer classes to IHSS Providers in conjunction with Connecting Point. Choose from a variety of online classes focused on in-home caregiving or complete one of the caregiving certification programs.
The IHSS Career Pathways Program is an exciting optional program that provides training opportunities to enhance providers skills. IHSS and Waiver Personal Care Services (WPCS) Providers who have completed provider enrollment are eligible to register for the IHSS Career Pathways Program training courses and can be compensated for time spent attending and completing training courses. Participation is voluntary, and the training is available statewide and free to IHSS/WPCS providers.
