Plan Check Electronic Submittals

While hardcopies can be submitted for review, Placer County recommends submitting plans and documents electronically as a convenient alternative. To help facilitate electronic submittals, here are the steps to submitting:

  1. Contact Placer County engineering plan check staff at:
  2. Plan check staff will email submittal information including a BOX link.
  3. Upload project files using the BOX link (emailing directly may be sufficient for projects with file sizes less than 20 mb).
  4. If the submittal is complete with all items included, we will open the permit and confirm the plan check fee amount.
  5. The plan check fee can either be paid by check or electronically. Please contact plan check staff to coordinate payment of fee. Upon payment of the fee, we will distribute the project for review.
