Placer County Law Enforcement Chaplaincy (PCLEC) is a field service ministry to members of law enforcement, their families, and the citizens of Placer County. The Chaplaincy continually provides the services of trained, critical incident chaplains on a 24 hour 7 day a week basis. We serve a combination of 10 agencies at 14 locations including City, County, and State agencies. All of our services are provided at no cost to either individuals, families or the agencies we serve.

Volunteer Chaplains

The PCLEC utilizes a Corps of Volunteer Chaplains overseen by a full time paid Senior Chaplain. The PCLEC is made up of both Law Enforcement Chaplains-who work primarily with officers, deputies and their families-and a Community Chaplain Response Team-that responds primarily to Placer County Community members.

All of our chaplains are thoroughly trained and go through a specialized FTO program and receive instruction in a variety of topics such as Death Notifications, Crime Scene Logistics, Ride-Along Procedures, Blood-Borne / Airborne pathogens, and suicides.
