Our program aims to reduce the impact of tobacco on Placer County residents by educating community members on current tobacco issues, providing technical assistance, reducing exposure to secondhand smoke, and supporting the enforcement of tobacco laws and policies.
The mission of the Placer Tobacco Prevention Coalition is to support the efforts of the Placer County Tobacco Prevention Program.

Link to pageThe Placer County Tobacco Prevention Program is working on implementing tobacco retail density and zoning policies in Placer County, with the goal to minimize the presence of future tobacco retailers within 1,000 feet of a school and within 500 feet of another tobacco retailer.
