Child Immunizations

Making sure that children of all ages receive all their immunizations on time is one of the most important things you can do as a parent to ensure your children's long-term health - as well as the health of friends, classmates, and others in your community.

Immunizations for School

California Law (Health and Safety Code 120325-120375) requires that children entering public or private school, including childcare, preschool, elementary, or secondary schools, receive required immunizations.

Need school immunizations for your child? Placer County has immunization clinics for uninsured and Medi-Cal eligible children 18 years and younger who need routine immunizations. Please visit our Shots for Student (SOS) clinic webpage and your child’s eligibility.
