Placer County’s sixth annual employee art show, Placer Creates, opens today

Works of art created by Placer County employees will be on display at six county office buildings as Placer County’s sixth annual employee art show, Placer Creates, opens today.

This year’s art show features over 60 pieces of art from more than 40 artists, ranging from wood carvings, painting and sculpture to photography and more.

Everyone is welcome to attend Placer Creates’ opening reception today, from 4:30 - 6 p.m, at the Community Development Resource Center in North Auburn. Several of the artists will be on hand to discuss their works.

Placer Creates viewing hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (closed holidays), from November 20 through February 28, 2019, at the following locations:
