Tahoe Transportation Demand Management

Placer County is in the process of developing Transportation Demand Management (TDM) strategies to implement transportation management-related goals and policies adopted in the Tahoe Basin Area Plan. Placer County staff are seeking input from community members about top opportunities for TDM implementation in the North Tahoe region.

Next Steps

Placer County staff will present the final Transportation Demand Management (TDM) strategies report at the June 11th, 2019 Board of Supervisor’s meeting.  The Board of Supervisors will consider the report and be asked to take action to approve the strategies for future implementation in the Tahoe Region.
