The Greater Lincoln Area Fire Safe Council planning area encompasses areas covered by Sheridan Fire (CSA 28, Zone 6B), Western Placer Fire (CSA 28, Zone 76), Sunset Industrial Area (CSA 28, Zone 97), the City of Lincoln, and Bickford Fire (CSA 28, Zone 189).

The mission of the Greater Lincoln Area Fire Safe Council is to communicate with area residents about the risks associated with living in the wildland-urban interface, motivating them to take action to protect their homes and property, and reducing wildfire fuels through coordinated action.
