In celebration of national Library Card Sign-up Month in September, the Placer County Library will issue 1,000 special-edition, black library cards. The cards are for first-time cardholders and will be available while supplies last.
Getting a library card is free, quick and easy at any Placer County library in the communities of Applegate, Auburn, Colfax, Foresthill, Granite Bay, Kings Beach, Penryn, Rocklin and Tahoe City, or at the Bookmobile.
For further convenience, guests can download the library card application and bring it with them to the library.
