Kitten foster families needed
Since the beginning of the year, Placer County Animal Services has taken in 260 kittens, an increase of nearly 25% compared to the previous year to date. Most of these young kittens require a few weeks of foster care before they are ready for adoption, leading to a critical need for foster families.

Placer secures revenues for housing and transport

CAL FIRE three-year contract renewal
The Placer County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution this week authorizing a $38.9 million, three-year contract with CAL FIRE, which provides full-service fire, rescue and medical response to nearly one-third of the county.

Final county budget approved
