Administrative and Fiscal Operations Manager Chris Artim

Chris ArtimChris has led the Department’s Professional Services staff since December of 2000. During this time, he has been responsible for managing our Department’s fiscal, budget, clerical, and I.T. activities, as well as fleet management, contract management, and facilities planning. His efforts allowed him to be recognized by his peers in 2018 as the employee of the year in the Probation Business Managers Association. Chris was also recognized in 2020 by the Probation Business Managers Association with their Distinguished Service Award for his meritorious service to the Association.

Chris has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Saint Mary’s College of California. Chris also is a California Credentialed County Senior Executive as recognized by the California State Association of Counties (CSAC).

Mission:

The mission of the Professional Services Division is providing innovative support to Probation Department personnel, allowing sworn staff to focus their efforts on delivering a variety of services and programs.

Goals:

To enhance the technological capabilities of the department by: providing and maintaining state of the art computer hardware and software; providing timely software and hardware upgrades; and providing effective systems and software training for all department staff.

To provide essential administrative support by the most efficient and effective means available. This shall include: payroll processing; accounts payable and receivable processing; grants management; personnel support; clerical support for all Units.
