Placer County Public Health aligns with state guidance. Please review for the latest state guidelines for COVID-19.

On June 15, 2021, the State of California lifted capacity and distancing restrictions for most businesses and activities. Large-scale indoor events may continue to have additional requirements. 

The California Department of Public Health announced on Dec. 13, 2021, that it is requiring masks to be worn in all indoor public settings, irrespective of vaccine status. It extended this requirement on Jan. 5 until Feb. 15, 2022.
