Assistant Chief - Administration

Chief Steve Robinson began his fire service career with CAL FIRE in 1994, where he came from Local Government in Nevada County.  As the Assistant Chief for Administration, he oversees all personnel, finance, budgets, facilities, and logistics across the Unit.  Chief Robinson has worked in a variety of assignments including the Grass Valley Emergency Command Center where he was integral in overseeing command center operations, 9-11 dispatch protocols, and the implementation of the Northrup Grumman Altaris CAD system.  

Chief Robinson is a qualified ATGS and CSFM Fire Officer and has dedicated his time to instructing CAD Administration and implementation teaching CAD Administration across our ranks and at our Statewide Academy.
