Station 10 is the Administrative Unit Headquarters for the Nevada Yuba Placer Unit and the Operational Headquarters for the Placer County Fire Department.  The Facility was built in 1966 and protects the Communities of Bowman, North Auburn, Christian Valley, and the recreation areas of the North and Middle forks of the American River.  This facility provides automatic aid to the City of Auburn and Mutual aid to Foresthill.   

 Auburn Headquarters is the home to Station 10, a career staffed Fire Station, the Office of the Fire Chief, Administration, Heavy Equipment Operations, Fleet Management, Resource Management, Logistics, Prevention and Law Enforcement, Training and EMS, and the Public Information Bureau.  Resources assigned to Station 10 include:

  • 1 Type II B212EP Tanked Fire Helicopter
  • 1 Type III CALStar EC135 Medical Helicopter
