Ebola Update From the Placer County Health Officer

I appreciate the opportunity to take a few minutes to address the concerns about the Ebola virus for the people of Placer County. Let me start by saying that the fact that I'm here addressing these concerns about Ebola, and not other health concerns, should not be construed in any way to suggest that the risk to the people of Placer County from the Ebola virus is is imminent or is significant relative to the risks from many other illnesses and threats. The average person in Placer County is more likely to be struck by lightning than by Ebola.
