Placer County seeks community input on library services in Penryn

Placer County Library Services will be hosting a series of meetings and an online survey to receive community input regarding the Penryn Library and which services are most valuable to the community.

The Penryn branch of the Placer County Library has remained closed since March 2020 due to the pandemic, and the input received will help determine next steps in how best to serve the community going forward. All input and survey results will be presented to the Board of Supervisors in the spring.

Community meetings will be held within four-hour windows at the Penryn Library building, 2215 Rippey Road, Penryn. The public is invited to drop in to meet leaders from the county’s Library Services Division and ask questions about services. Meetings dates and times are:

  • Thursday, Jan. 26, from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.

  • Saturday, Jan. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The online survey is available by clicking here, and residents may fill out a paper copy of the survey at the Auburn Library and Rocklin Library between now and Feb. 7.
