The Placer Business Resource Center's Small Business COVID-19 Recovery Program is a forgivable loan program designed to assist eligible small businesses (i.e., businesses with five (5) or fewer employees) located in the unincorporated areas of Placer County that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

We'll begin accepting applications on March 13, 2023, at 9:00 AM and this is a first-come, first-served program. All applications must be submitted prior to or on March 27, 2023. 

Program funding is provided through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

Funding Available to Eligible Loan Applicants

  • Eligible small businesses with annual gross revenue in 2019 of less than $100,000 will be eligible for up to $50,000 in forgivable loan funding with the amount provided based on the need determined during the underwriting process.
  • Eligible small businesses with annual gross revenue in 2019 of $100,000 or more will be eligible for up to $100,000 in forgivable loan funding with the amount provided based on the need determined during the underwriting process.
