Watt Avenue Over Dry Creek Bridge Replacement

Watt bridge pic

The existing Watt Avenue Bridge over Dry Creek was built in 1940 and is obsolete.  Due to the condition of the bridge and new development in the area, the existing bridge will be replaced.

The project site is adjacent to the Placer Vineyards and Riolo Vineyards Specific Plan areas and within the Dry Creek / West Placer Community Plan area. Project objectives include replacing the existing bridge to meet future land use and circulation demands, meet regional flood control objectives, improve roadway safety and structural load capacity, and provide a bridge and roadway facility that meets current design standards.

Construction is tentatively planned for the summer of 2024.
