To better serve our residents, the Placer County Clerk-Recorder-Elections Office has expanded into south Placer with a new location in Rocklin!

The long process of locating, purchasing, and renovating our new office and warehouse is finally over and we couldn't be more excited to share our new home with our residents! We believe this second location will allow for more transparency and community engagement, while also improving access and security. Now that we’ve officially opened our doors, residents and partners of Placer County can visit our new location to access vital services such as recording real property records, obtaining copies of birth or death certificates, applying for a marriage license and much more.
Our office in Auburn will remain open for the convenience of our north and east Placer residents, though some services such as map recordings and passport applications are only available in Rocklin. All elections services, such as voter registration, candidate filings and more, will be conducted at the Rocklin location.
