Children 5 and up are invited to attend Read to a Dog! The program aims to boost children's reading abilities and self-confidence through the practice of reading aloud to trained therapy dogs. Discover the joy and comfort in reading to these compassionate, non-judgmental, and gentle dogs.

Capital Therapy Dogs is an all-volunteer public benefit organization that registers handlers and their dogs as therapy dog teams to support our programs in communities within the Greater Sacramento CA area.
