[ARCHIVED] Penny Bear statue in Tahoe City gets a bath and fresh coat

Penny Bear gets a bath and new coat from original artist.

Made up of more than 200,000 pennies, the iconic Penny Bear statue in Tahoe City got a refresh and bath recently by artist Lisa Ferguson. Watch our video from our Parks team to see her replace more than 100 pennies at the base of the statue.
