Introduction - As the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), Environmental Health Services is certified by the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) to enforce state laws and regulations at solid waste facilities within its jurisdiction.  The Foresthill Transfer Station operates under a Solid Waste Facility Permit (SWFP) issued by the LEA. The owner of the Foresthill Transfer Station has filed an application with the LEA to update operating days and hours.

Description of Project  - The operator has re-applied for a Registration permit to update changes as listed above.

Local Enforcement Agency’s Determination  - The LEA reviewed the application package and determined that the proposed changes are consistent with the existing California Environmental Quality Act  (CEQA) documents.   The LEA further determined that the proposed changes are consistent with the State Minimum  Standards and do not conflict with the terms and conditions of the current Solid Waste Facilities Permit. As required by 14 CCR 17403.9, the LEA is distributing this notice for the purpose of noticing its acceptance of the revised application and issuance of a Registration Permit.
