[ARCHIVED] Placer County’s sixth annual employee art show, Placer Creates, opens today

Works of art created by Placer County employees will be on display at six county office buildings as Placer County’s sixth annual employee art show, Placer Creates, opens today.

This year’s art show features over 60 pieces of art from more than 40 artists, ranging from wood carvings, painting and sculpture to photography and more.

Everyone is welcome to attend Placer Creates’ opening reception today, from 4:30 - 6 p.m., at the Community Development Resource Center in North Auburn. Several of the artists will be on hand to discuss their works. 

Placer Creates viewing hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (closed holidays), from Nov. 20 through Feb. 28, 2019, at the following locations:

Community Development Resource Center – 3091 County Center Drive, North Auburn
County Administrative Center – 175 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn
Larry Oddo Finance Administration Building – 2986 Richardson Drive, North Auburn
Sunset Building - 1000 Sunset Blvd., Rocklin
Tahoe Administrative Center – 775 N. Lake Blvd., Tahoe City
Tahoe City Library – 740 N. Lake Blvd., Tahoe City (library hours)
