G. Grant Request to the
Sierra Nevada Conservancy | Letter of Support (PDF)
1. Authorize the Chair to sign a letter of
support for a grant request by the Auburn Fire Department and the Greater
Auburn Area Fire Safe Council for $1 million from the Sierra Nevada
Conservancy. Grant funds would be utilized to expand the width of the Auburn
Shaded Fuel Break from 300 feet to 600 feet. There is no County cost associated
with this item.
