In accordance with the County Budget Act, the Board may add or change items contained in the adopted Proposed Budget for FY 2008/09. All additions and changes to the Proposed Budget approved by the Board of Supervisors shall be made available to the public at least 72 hours prior to the Final Budget Public Hearing.
1. PUBLIC COMMENT – Joan Stockbridge requested Placer Arts be funded at last year’s level of $150,000.
2. BUDGET WORKSHOP SCHEDULE – Various Budget Presentations, Sewer Facilities/Operations Presentation, Executive Summary.
3. COUNTY EXECUTIVE – Wrap up.
MOTION Rockholm/Weygandt/Unanimous directing staff to prepare final budget adjustments consistent with materials provided, confirm the strategy in terms of how the final budget is prepared, return with the final budget August 26, 2008, and return back to the Board following adoption of the State Budget.
