 1.    COUNTY EXECUTIVE

A.    Squaw Valley Ski Museum Contract Extension and Budget Amendment; and Presentation From Squaw Valley Ski Museum Foundation about the status of the Sierra Nevada Olympic and Winter Sports Museum

1.    Approved a contract extension and budget amendment in the amount of $73,674 to the expired contract between Placer County and the Squaw Valley Ski Museum Foundation for work to complete an Environmental Questionnaire for the potential development of the Sierra Nevada Olympic and Winter Sports Museum on Placer County’s Squaw Valley Park site.

2.    Continued to TUESDAY, July 23, 2019 at 11:15am Receive a presentation from Squaw Valley Ski Museum Foundation board and staff about the status of the Sierra Nevada Olympic and Winter Sports Museum, current project concept and project timeline.

1.    Received a presentation on activities within the County pertaining to emergency preparedness, forest health, wildfire mitigation, and fire insurance.

A.    Presentation from Liberty Utilities on the Wildfire Mitigation Program

1.    Received a presentation by Liberty Utilities about the Wildfire Mitigation Program covering the topics of real-time weather monitoring and intelligence, vegetation management, system hardening and the public safety power shutoff program.

 4.   COUNTY EXECUTIVE               

A.    Truckee Fire Protection District Request For Voluntary Property Tax Exchange Agreement

1.      Received a report on a request by Truckee Fire Protection District to enter into a voluntary exchange agreement for property tax revenues and provided direction to staff to return to the Board with an updated fiscal analysis.

 

ADJOURNMENT – To Ribbon Cutting at 5:30 p.m. at the King Beach roundabouts (SR28/Coon St. and SR28/Bear St.) and Reception hosted by Plumas Bank at 8475 North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach, CA 96143. The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.
