7.1. COUNTY EXECUTIVE
1. Conduct a public hearing on the request from Hill Top Hospitality, LLC for an economic development subsidy related to a lodging facility located at 13535 Bowman Rd, Auburn, CA 95603.
2. Approve a transient occupancy tax (TOT) rebate agreement with Hill Top Hospitality, LLC for a rebate of incremental transient occupancy taxes in the estimated amount of $423,181 for the period of January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024, and authorize the County Executive, or designee, to execute the agreement upon County Counsel and Risk Management approval, with funding for the proposed rebate provided by incremental TOT generated by the lodging facility and collected by the County. Authorize the County Executive, or designee, to take such other actions and execute such other documents as may be necessary to implement the agreement.
