Enrollments are by appointment only. To determine if you may qualify for WIC, please contact the WIC Program.
The WIC staff will give you an enrollment appointment and directions to the nearest office. At your appointment, WIC staff will check to see if you and your family qualify. All persons enrolling in WIC must be present at the enrollment appointment.

What Do I Need to Bring to My WIC Appointment
- Identification for the persons applying for WIC, such as a birth certificate, driver’s license, crib card, military ID, photo ID, Social Security card, hospital record, or Medi-Cal BIC card.
- Proof of all family income
- Proof of street address
- All enrollment forms sent to you by WIC

Special Programs for WIC Participants
In 2017, Dental Days provided preventive dental services to WIC participants who were pregnant and children 0-5 years of age.
In 2018, Dental Days services are available to all family members of WIC participants (fathers, non-pregnant mothers, guardians, older siblings) who can now also receive FREE:
- Dental assessments
- Fluoride varnish to prevent cavities
- Information on how to stay cavity free
- Referral to a dentist if needed
- Dental supplies

If you are a WIC participant, call WIC for the Dental Days schedule. You do not have to wait until your next WIC appointment to come to a Dental Day.

Breastfeeding provides the best food for infants and many health benefits for moms and babies that last for years.
The Placer County WIC Program supports breastfeeding. Whether a WIC mom is learning about breastfeeding, starting to breastfeed, overcoming challenges, or thriving, WIC Breastfeeding Support has the information, recourses and support to help moms meet their breastfeeding goals.

Placer County WIC supports the consumption of fresh, locally- grown fruits and vegetables and encourages shopping at community farmers’ markets by providing $20 coupon booklets to eligible WIC families. Farmers’ Market Coupon booklets are good from May 1, 2018 till November 30,2018. WIC families are only eligible to receive one Farmers’ Market coupon booklet during the Farmers’ Market season.
