Temporary Homeless Shelter Information

In case of emergency, call 9-1-1.

If you are in need of emergency housing services call the Homeless Resource Helpline at 1-833-3PLACER (1-833-375-2237).

For non-emergency law enforcement calls, dial 530-886-5375.

Starting July 1, 2018, for shelter operation related questions, call 916-791-9355 and ask for Marie (including inquiries regarding jobs). Questions regarding donations can be directed to Michael at 916-791-9355 or

The community and Placer County employees will continue to be able to share comments, concerns and information that may arise from the temporary shelter operation.
