Remote Video Inspections

Placer County has implemented a Video Inspection Program to provide an alternative for eligible inspections, including limited re-inspections. Your smartphone or tablet is your newest tool to expedite building inspections. Contractors and homeowners can now connect with County Inspectors virtually and receive same-day approval on projects using remote video inspections.

The program requires the customer to use Skype on a minimum 4G smartphone or tablet in order to interact with the County Inspector.
